JO 14665 Assistant Whey Plant Manager
LOCATION: Idaho
SALARY: $41-68K
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the Whey Plant Manager with the financial results of the facility and provides leadership and
direction for all aspects of production and related departments consistent with company objectives.
Activities will focus on maximization of product quality, production yield, control of expenses, as
defined in the budget and effective use of staffing in a climate that promotes a safe and positive
environment for all employees assigned to the facility. Assists Plant Manager for all major improvement
projects, in relationship with corporate Engineering and suppliers.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Diary or equivalent from four year college or technical
school, eight to ten years food manufacturing experience preferred, attention to detail and accuracy in
work required, high personal quality and ability to work well with others, strong communication abilities
in both written and verbal, strong technical knowledge in Evaporation & Drying necessary, ability to read,
create financial results (P&L), knowledge of computer software.
