POSITION: Warehouse Manager
LOCATION: Wisconsin
SALARY: Negotiable based on experience
OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Operation Manager, this position provides leadership and direction to the
warehouse department in areas of responsibility including receiving, shipping, and inventory accuracy.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the warehouse department in an organized, safe,
and sanitary work environment that is in compliance with the Companys policies, OSHA, and government
regulations.
Ensures all transactions are recorded timely and accurately to reflect an accurate inventory
position at any time. These include receiving, shipping, production, scrap, damage, and cycle counts.
Monitors the inventory of all products to ensure proper rotation and traceability of all items.
In addition to the main plant location, monitor Company owned inventory at outside distribution
centers.
Provides management of employees to ensure effective selection, retention, development,
disciplinary action and performance management.
Contains and/or reduces cost and drives productivity within the department.
Cooperates in a cross-functional manner with all departments within the Company.
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager including planning, evaluating, organizing,
integrating, and delegating.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of 5 year years of experience; a Bachelors degree is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer based applications. Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others
through change.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
Strong team player and leader with the ability to work with other departments
