POSITION AVAILABLE 14843 Engineering Manager

LOCATION: Southeastern, WI area

SALARY: $85-120K

SUMMARY:

Global Engineering unit of a leading Food Ingredient is looking for an Engineering Manager for the US. The Engineering department works on investment projects and consulting tasks within buildings, process installations, process equipment and Automation/MES mainly focused on our WI sites. This position is responsible for managing a team of 4 Engineers and will report to the Director of Global Engineering in Europe. Global Engineering and Production IT (GEPIT) implements projects at the global production facilities within our core competences: building, mechanical, automation and production IT. In addition, will contribute with vital expertise to feasibility studies and project drafts in the entire organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project management and project implementation

Responsible for maintaining an adequate competence level in the US engineering team.

Coaching of employees to ensure the necessary competence development

Resource allocation, prioritization of tasks and deployment of external consultants

EXPERIENCE: Requirements and Characteristics:

*A Bachelors Degree in Engineering along with thorough knowledge within a process- driven manufacturing environment.

*7-10 years of experience managing a team of professionals

*Project management experience and/or experience with contractual and legal conditions in relation to suppliers and consultants

*Experience with one or more of the following areas is considered an advantage:
Food/Pharma, CIP/SIP, Up-/downstream processing, Hygienic design, sterile technique and aseptic design, Drying processes, Powder handling and Packaging lines

*Strong customer orientation and the ability to work in a local and global cross-functional environment

*Result and decision-oriented, structured and a good team player

*Possess good communication and negotiation skills

*Proven leadership experience and a strong project management skills
