JOB TITLE: Warehouse Manager

LOCATION: Michigan

SALARY: $60-70K

DUTIES:
• Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

• Works with QA and other departments to manage activities necessary for the effective implementation and maintenance of food safety, food quality plans and pre-requisite programs

• Assures inventory control by conducting regular physical counts of all inventories and reconciling with production and receiving

• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspection of equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements

• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training

• Maintains warehouse job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employee’s, planning, planning, monitoring and appraising job results

• Contribute to team results by accomplishing related tasks as required

• All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 year college degree in business, management or operations or 5 plus years experience in a progressive supervisory role

• Customer service experience

• Must have worked in a manufacturing environment

• Must have supervisory experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good computer skills

• Good organizational and prioritization skills
