Title:

SQF Certified Coordinator

(Manufacturer of Food/Liquid Dietary Nutritional Beverage & Supplements)

LOCATION: Milwaukee, Wisconsin area

SALARY: $ Competitive base salary + bonus depending on your experience

DESCRIPTION:

1. Oversight of SQF 2000 & 3000 Certification process

2. Develop, maintain, validate and revise annually the SQF 2000 Program

3. Ongoing SQF 2000 program management - Ensure that SQF rules are being respected rigorously

4. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate activities related to the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program

5. Ensure a good follow-up of non-conformities of the SQF 2000 Program by developing and putting in place realistic action plans

6. Manage HACCP system - Analyze production steps to determine efficient control points based on the SQF 2000 system and revise them when changes are made

7. Facilitating monthly HACCP Committee meetings. Preparing agenda and minutes of the meeting

8. Participate and take the lead in food safety audits

9. Train and supervise management employees that have a role in the SQF Program to ensure their good understanding of the rules and development as a team of the best control measures possible

10. Support Production and QA technicians in the application and/or monitoring of the SQF rules and controls

11. Inform the immediate supervisor of all non-conformities to the SQF rules for which the consequence to the company could be major

Qualification/Skills Required

1. Experience developing, implementing and maintaining SQF 2000 program

2. Experience writing, implementing and maintaining HACCP plans

3. Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Word and Excel

4. Ability to analyze and make decisions<.br>
5. Energetic, flexible and have ability to work alone and in a team environment

6. Good Verbal and written communication skills

7. Experience working in a FDA regulated industry

8. Experience working in food manufacturing or dietary supplement industry

9. Education in food technology or food science or equivalent.
